Bandwidth adalah kapasitas transfer data yang dimiliki oleh suatu hosting. Bandwidth memiliki keterbatasan dan akan berkurang seiring banyaknya akses yang dilakukan oleh website, maka perlu sebuah usaha untuk menghemat Bandwidth agar tidak terjadi keterlambatan dalam mengakses website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ada beberapa cara untuk menghemat penggunaan Bandwidth, antara lain:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Encoding gzip<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Dengan menambahkan encoding berbentuk gzip kedalam header website atau pada file .htaccess dapat meringkankan berat loading pada status.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Compress CSS, Javascript, Image<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Banyak situs yang menyediakan fitur sejenis yang terlihat pada mesin pencarian, ini dapat meminimalkan ukuran file dan membuatnya ringan untuk diterapkan pada situs.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Gunakan Proxy Cache<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Proxy cache dapat membantu dalam membatasi jumlah lalu lintas yang dibuat oleh web browser. Saat anda sebagai pengguna internet menggunakan internet untuk mengunjungi sebuah website, server proxy akan menyimpan data-data internet dalam bentuk cache. sehingga anda yang pernah datang mengunjungi website tersebut tidak perlu menunggu loading lama kecuali file cache belum dihapus, dan ketika tidak melakukan download tentu akan menghemat Bandwidth.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li><strong>Matikan plugins atau add-on-web browser<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Sebagian plugin web browser biasanya dikoneksikan ke internet baik untuk mengupdate, mengambil data atau informasi lainnya.
