LED terbuat dari bahan semikonduktor yang memiliki struktur sama dengan dioda biasa, yaitu terdiri dari sambungan <strong data-start=\"567\" data-end=\"592\">P-N (Positif-Negatif)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"1006\">Perbedaan LED dengan dioda biasa terletak pada kemampuannya memancarkan cahaya ketika elektron bergerak melintasi sambungan P-N.
